Terms of Service

By using the CertiScan EU app (the "App"), you agree to the following terms. Please read this text carefully.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE

The scores, violation findings, and corrective suggestions provided by CertiScan EU are an informational pre-audit tool only. The App does not substitute for official Notified Body certification or binding legal advice. Final responsibility for your products' compliance with the EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) and CE marking rules rests with you.

1. Scope of Service

CertiScan EU reviews the product label/packaging photos you upload against a fixed rule set to help identify possible GPSR/CE compliance gaps (EU responsible person information, CE marking size, safety warnings, batch numbers, language requirements, etc.). Accuracy depends on image clarity and how current the rule set is. 100% accuracy is not guaranteed.

2. Account and Registration

• The App can be used anonymously (device-based) without registration.
• Purchasing a subscription requires creating an account via Apple, Google, or email/password.
• You are responsible for the security of your account and all actions performed under it.

3. Subscription Plans

• CertiScan EU offers paid subscription tiers with additional features: Monthly Pro (corrective actions, supplier notice letters) and Yearly Enterprise (multilingual PDF/Word/Excel export, full sharing, vector template output, unlimited history).
• Prices are displayed within the App and on the relevant store (App Store / Google Play).
• Payment is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You may cancel anytime via App Store or Google Play settings; access continues until the end of the current period.

4. Acceptable Use

• The App may be used commercially for the pre-audit of your own products.
• You may not use the App for illegal purposes.
• You may not engage in activities that damage, overload, or compromise the security of the App.
• Copying, distributing, or reverse engineering the App's rule engine, algorithm, or interface is prohibited.

5. Intellectual Property

The CertiScan EU App, its design, logo, content, and rule engine are the intellectual property of FinestFor. All rights reserved.

6. Limitation of Liability

• CertiScan EU cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages (including fines, product recalls, or marketplace suspension) resulting from image-reading errors, an outdated rule set, or inaccuracies in analysis results.
• Final GPSR/CE compliance of your products is entirely the responsibility of the user/manufacturer/importer.
• The App is provided "as is" with no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Account Deletion and Termination

• You may permanently delete your account and all associated data via "Settings > Delete Account" in the App.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

8. Changes

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. You will be notified in-app of material changes. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Kayseri Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction over any disputes.
